Infrared Heating Panels Electrical Specifications
How to choose the voltage right for you:
If you are heating a very small room, e.g., a bathroom or small laundry area, you can choose the easiest method. Use a 120 v. panel with a plug-in thermostat.
If you are heating a large area, e.g., whole house, condo, warehouse, or office building use 240 v. hard-wired panels for greater efficiency. Use the rule-of-thumb of one thermostat per room.
If you are heating a commercial or industrial building your existing wiring may be 240 or 208 v. Then you would hard-wire your panels using the appropriate voltage. Check with your electrician to find out.
